Personal Assistance provides support with daily activities (ADLs), Services include but are not limited to:
Dressing and Grooming -. Arthritis, injury and other conditions can make it difficult to get dressed and groomed. Our caregivers can help you or your loved one get ready to face the day.
Bathing and Hygiene. It’s also important to bathe regularly and keep up with basic hygiene as part of a healthy lifestyle. We will help your loved one get into and out of the tub safely and make sure that proper hygiene habits are maintained.
Incontinence Care. Incontinence is a common condition among the elderly, one that can be both embarrassing and even isolating. From adult diapers and commodes to bedside urinals and internal catheters, we will discretely manage these situations.
Transferring. Transferring from the bed to a wheelchair or a wheelchair to the toilet can be difficult for many of our at-home clients. We provide assistance with all transference issues.
Feeding. Loss of control, balance and coordination can all make eating difficult. We provide assistance with the act of eating and drinking, as well as making sure your loved one is eating healthy meals throughout the day.
Household services
Our second area of expertise focuses on helping you manage the daily tasks that keep a household running smoothly. From cleaning to shopping, we handle the details that create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable home environment. Household Services include, but are not limited to, the following:
Companionship-Living with a disability at home can be very isolating. That’s why we provide companionship to keep your loved one active and socially engaged.
Meal Preparation-Our caregivers will help prepare food and serve your loved one healthy, nutritious meals so they get the sustenance they need daily.
Shopping and Errands- We will run errands and go food shopping for your loved one so they don’t have to worry about getting the things they need.
Light House Cleaning- A clean house is a safe house. We will perform light house cleaning, such as dusting and vacuuming.
Respite Care- When you as the family member need a break from the role of caretaker, we are here to fill in the gaps.
Transportation- From church services to doctor’s appointments, we can get your loved one where they need to be.
